​​Apostle Ford was raised in a loving Christian home. His parents  Deacon Owen E. Ford, Sr. and Dr. Margery Ford-Timmons ensured that he was trained up in the way that he was supposed to go so that he would not depart from the word of God. During his teenage years the anointing of God was still very present upon his life. While attending the Resurrection Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Apostle Ford came up through the ranks of being a Trustee and the

youngest Vice Chairman of the Deacon ministry. And still God had more for him to do.

The Lord sent then Deacon Ford and his family to the Ever Abundant Life International Ministries to be under the leadership of Apostle Alexander William Thompson, Jr. in Darby, Pennsylvania.  Apostle Thompson’s forward teachings on the Word of God, his demonstrating Power of the Prophetic and deliverance in the body of Christ propelled Deacon Ford to his next 

level of ministry. The man of God proved himself to be a leader, knowledgeable, loyal, and full of wisdom. Shortly thereafter he was ordained as an Apostle of Jesus Christ in January 2006. Apostle Ford was entrusted with the development and care of the Finance Ministry, Ministers in Training Courses, and the Marriage Ministry. While serving at Ever Abundant Life, Apostle Ford was charged with other major responsibilities that were of great help to Apostle Thompson and the church.

Through the process of time and by humbly serving in another man’s work and furthering his education and knowledge of the scriptures, the Lord still had more for him to do. The day of new beginnings came when Apostle Thompson announced to the congregation that he would be sending Apostle Ford out with his family to begin the work that the Lord was birthing through them now known as the True Love Church in Folcroft, Pennsylvania.

The True Love Church is a ministry where people can come and experience the true love of Christ. TLC is growing spiritually and numerically under Apostle Ford’s direction and guidance from the Holy Spirit. He has been gifted to uniquely teach God’s Word with such a conviction that compels all men to be saved.

Apostle Ford has used his experience of 20 years of managing people and making companies successful and profitable to his advantage while shepherding the flock and ministering to the people completely. He currently resides in Folcroft, Pennsylvania, with his high school sweetheart and wife of 21 years, Apostle Julia D. Ford. He is also the father of three beautiful and talented children Owen III, Julian, and Milan.
